Tartan Tea House - Halifax

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to The Tartan Tea House. My previous times were with groups of friends, but this time it was just with my sister to celebrate her Birthday. We had such a wonderful time and she felt very special. The service as always was impeccable and food delicious. When you make a reservation online it gives you the option to select an special event (if there is one), which I did. Amal, the owner, went out of her way to make our celebration special and even surprised my sister with a strawberry dessert, candle included. Thanks Amal, we enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wonderful conversation.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the tea house - it's like a dream come true! It's not just a place for events, but also a cozy spot to relax alone. The owner, Amal, is so attentive to detail and truly delightful. Since moving back from the UK, I'm grateful to have a place to go and think back on my time there. Thank you, Amal, for creating such a lovely space and serving amazing food.

My adult daughter and I visited this restaurant and we were both very impressed. The location overlooking the water was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, the tea selection was extensive, the ambiance was charming (they even provide hats if you forget yours), and the owner was delightful. While it may be a bit pricey for regular visits, it is a perfect place for a special occasion. I highly recommend it for a visit with your elderly mother, sister(s), niece(s), friends, or adult daughter(s). We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

My spouse and I recently visited this charming tea house that brought back memories of home. It's a cozy spot with seating for about 26 people (be sure to make a reservation so you don't miss out!). We tried the cream tea and the scones were delightful, just like traditional scones. The Tea House also prepares their own clotted cream. We can't wait to come back and try more teas from their extensive selection, along with some of those tempting desserts.

This tea room was a magical experience! The co-owner, Amal, was very knowledgable about the tea she served and the British style scones were nothing short of amazing! The best afternoon tea I've ever had! The attention to detail was wonderful.
