We recently moved to Halifax and this is one of our favs! the food is delicious, the staff is wonderful and its nice, cool and comfortable! Prices are great (specially for lunch) and we always look forward to our next time there! 10/10
I dined here a few days ago and was truly impressed with the flavours and service
The food was great and the service was excellent! :D
That's my experience. Yours might be different The location in downtown is perfect
Loved it! I live nearby so I've walked by this place probably over 100 times now. I went for the first time tonight and it lived up to every expectation I had. It's so cute inside. Twinkly lights, a little diffuser, candles... it was so nice. It was clean and the service was friendly and fast. I loved my vermicelli bowl and the veggie spring rolls were fantastic. I'm so excited I live so close! Just disappointed it took me so long to get here.
Nestled in downtown Halifax, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of authentic Vietnamese cuisine and a charming ambiance. Diners rave about the rich flavors of the pho and expertly crafted spring rolls, alongside attentive and friendly service. The cozy, dimly lit atmosphere enhances the overall dining experience, making it ideal for intimate meals. While portions may be a concern for some, the quality of the food stands out, including a fantastic mango salad and satisfying chicken rice. A perfect spot to warm up on a rainy day, this venue promises a memorable culinary journey.

The food was really good. The best meat spring rolls I had in a while. The Vermicelli bowls are delicious and beautifully plated. The Vietnamese ice cream coffee was the perfect way to finish the meal. Will definitely go back
Ordered Pho Special with Beef Brisket and Rare Beef. Very Tasty Broth, Great Iced Vietnamese Coffee, Good Hospitality
I love this place (and the family that runs it). The sweet and sour soup has been a go-to for any under-the-weather family member for decades (as Man Bean and before as their previous family restaurant). The menu is nice and concise: not a single miss. I came here to see if they were open because I was craving their soup and realized I never left a review. :P <3
Very nice, small and cozy, delicious food, if you like Vietnamese food this is the place you must visit
The place had a wonderful aesthetic going it. It was dimly lit which looked beautiful. The tables were nice and big. And the waiter was friendly and accommodating. I tried both their spring rolls and it was delicious. I loved the vinegary sauce for the fried spring rolls and the peanut butter based sauced for the other. It was easily some of the best appetizers I’ve had. The pho was also delicious. I enjoyed the broth quite a bit. I wish there were a bit more of the vegetables and meat for it, but it was overall worth the experience.

The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. I can't wait to return!
The waiter made us so uncomfortable from the very beginning. rushed us into ordering. the food was bland (no seasoning or sauce just plain rice, lettuce, plain noodles) then proceeded to blame my partner for the food being bland. then brings salad dressing and half a teaspoon of siracha to fix the taste of the food. worst dining experience I've had in halifax. 0/10 service. 0/10 food. highly recommend passing on this place.
A great place with a friendly waiter. A place to taste a delicious national dish. I recommend tasting vermicelli with shrimp and chicken and drinking Vietnamese coffee.
Soup noodles incredibly delicious. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Amazing service. Definitely worth the trip!
"My experience might be different from yours, but here’s what I discovered. The downtown location is perfect, although parking can be a bit tricky. The decor and layout are wonderful—it's both cozy and romantic, which I truly appreciated. The cleanliness of the restaurant was up to par. We were seated right away, and the service was efficient. Our orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived warm. The presentation of the dishes was top-notch, and the ingredients matched the menu descriptions perfectly. The flavors were delightful, and the portions were ample. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially given the generous servings. In summary, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit."

Very nice, small and cozy, delicious food, if you like Vietnamese food this is the place you must visit??
I have a house special for dinner. The texture of the noodle is nice. The chef is generous in providing beef. The soup is rich in taste but not salty. The owner must be praised for his flexibility. My in-laws and friends and I visited the restaurantaround 8.15pm. The restaurant is about to close at 9pm. The owner is still willing to welcome us and serve us. Dark chocolate72% cocoa is served. Appreciate very much! A nice restaurant to come across with in Halifax.

I had the house special for dinner, and I was really impressed by the texture of the noodles. The chef was generous with the beef, and the soup had a great flavor without being too salty. I want to give a shoutout to the owner for his flexibility. My in-laws, friends, and I arrived at the restaurant around 8:15 PM, just before it closed at 9 PM, but the owner warmly welcomed us and served us without any hesitation. We also enjoyed some dark chocolate with 72% cocoa, which was a delightful addition. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant to discover in Halifax!

I ordered the ‘Chicken Rice with Lemongrass’ it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, served over fluffy rice with a refreshing side of crisp salad. I especially loved having the Sriracha and fresh chilies on hand to kick up the spice to my liking I said I’m from Thailand, he served me a fresh chili Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Curry with Rice and Vegtables, Vermicelli with Prawns Chicken and Vegetables
