Was Monica Schaefer at Certainly Cinnamon a mag?

My family and I frequently visit Cinnamon for lunch and it never disappoints. I personally enjoy the duck in Italian flatbread, but the paninis are also delicious. My only suggestion for anyone visiting is to ask for no spread on their sandwiches, as it can be overwhelming and ruins the flavor of the food. View all feedback.

What Vinnie Fritsch dislikes about Certainly Cinnamon:

Rude staff, especially the bald headed man. Destroyed my over priced small sandwich with cheap and nasty butter, lots of it too. And salad garnish....ha. more like 3 tiny bits of shredded lettuce with 3 cheap crisps and a thin slice of cucumber. Will not be visiting again View all feedback.

My husband and I chose Certainly Cinnamon to cater our wedding, and I cannot praise them enough for the wonderful experience we had working with them.

This place made me ashamed for local businesses in Halifax, NS. Not sure how this place expects to keep customers when they treat them like garbage. Really really rude staff, food is mediocre at best. Not worth the visit becase of the terrible customer service.

This isn't so much a review of the coffee shop as a whole, although I can say it's cozy and the selection and prices look great. Staff is a bit rushed, but friendly enough. All I can speak to is the Thai Pork Tenderloin sandwich... It alone is worth a side trip. It comes with cheese and a selection of salads of your choice (make sure you ask, as in the lunch rush they sometimes only put on the minimum). It is delicious, packed with flavour in the well marinated meat. It is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten, and a bargain on fresh baked thick sliced bread, at $4.95 plus tax.

I often use this spot when I'm looking for something a little more than just soup or sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, I'm still ordering soup and sandwiches but they are nicer, better prepared and jazzed up with egglant and other delictables. Great place to order lunch brought in for a client meeting!

Cinnamon in Halifax, NS has received mixed reviews from customers. While some appreciated the nice light breakfast and good cinnamon bun, others were disappointed with the rude staff and mediocre food. The Italian flatbread duck and Thai Pork Tenderloin sandwich were standout menu items, with customers suggesting skipping the spreads to enhance the flavors. The cozy atmosphere, good prices, and variety of seating options were praised, making it a decent spot for a quick bite or client meeting. Despite some negative experiences, Cinnamon offers some tasty options for those looking for more than just soup and sandwiches.
