I had chicken balls, fried rice and beef... read more Really upsetting to see all the bad reviews, however many of the bad reviews seem old and they have gotten much better. I had chicken balls, fried rice and beef and broccoli. The rice and broccoli were fantastic, and I'd like to try some other menu items. The staff was nice, it seems to be a family buisness which is probably why the service can sometimes be slow. There are still a few flaws (when we came in the restaurant was empty except for a child playing an ipad), and the chicken balls could have been more flavourful and were a bit hard on the outside. I had a great experience and I think it is a nice family doing their best with a small staff.

The chicken had numerous bones still in it, and the only flavor was heat—there was no sauce to enhance the dish. The pepper husks were quite chewy and made up about 30% of the meal. Additionally, the rice was offered as an extra charge. Overall, I was not impressed.

Even though it was half an hour past closing time, they kindly seated us. Initially, we decided to order takeout since we weren’t familiar with the place, and some reviews made us hesitant. However, we were pleasantly surprised—the food is fantastic! The ginger beef is the best I've had in Halifax, rivaling the one from 9 Nine. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. While the restaurant's atmosphere could be improved, it is clean and features lovely plants. I urge you to overlook the negative reviews; most are outdated, ranging from 2 to 5 years old, with only one being about a botched Uber order. This place is definitely worth a visit!
