Roy Rogers - Halfway
Roy Rogers
Description
The restaurant features a varied menu that includes popular items like burgers, roast beef, and chicken tenders, but experiences with the food quality and service have been inconsistent. While some customers praise the friendly staff and cleanliness, others report slow service and food that falls short of expectations. The ambiance is described as cozy, though cleanliness issues and management oversight have been noted. Overall, diners may find a decent meal here, but it often comes with mixed experiences, particularly during busier times.

I was truly impressed by the wide range of food options, particularly the chicken and side dishes, and even real ice cream! The restaurant also does a great job of creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere.
What has happened to their chicken strips? They used to be delicious, but now they are overly thick with fried breading, making them inedible. I took a bite of one and ended up throwing the rest away. Their hamburgers are also disappointing—a tiny square of meat that doesn't even fit the bun. I won’t be returning.
The girl at the front counter seemed out of it and could barely keep her eyes open. When I inquired about the ingredients in the roast beef sliders, she ended up charging me for a roast beef instead.
Haven't been to a Roy Rogers since the 1990s and this one at least is really good. The chicken tenders are great! The cashier was really helpful.
Stopped here on a road trip. I ordered the tenders and my husband, the 2 piece meal. My tenders weren’t the most tender but the sauce made it better and my husband said his 2 piece had more breading than meat. The fries were fresh and hot and tasty. So overall, just average but we attributed it to the lunch rush they must’ve just had.
