My food was not hot, room temperature at best. I sent it back and they brought it back pretty much the same. I took the bacon off my shrimp because it was undercooked and the shrimp was half raw -still brown!! The waiter was very nice. He didn’t charge me for me meal but I left hungry. I would not recommend this restaurant View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sam's Chowder House:
Food quality was disappointing. However, we ordered food choices that might not have been the best, instead of catching the day or chowder. I had a very average lobster roll, and my wife had shrimps that were boiled under. Location was good as the service. All in all, an average to below average experience. View all feedback.
Highly recommend the local halibut dinner and delicious key lime pie!

Excellent food…we had the Lobster Roll the Crab-Stuffed Shrimp. So much food SO GOOD! Parking is a bit of a bear, but everything else was perfect.
Food was ok. The service was alright. My paella was very liquid. Restrooms were filthy! I brought it to the staff’s attention and they didn’t seem to care.
Dining outside on a beautiful day overlooking the harbor, eating delicious seafood, what could be better?
