Pasta Moon - Half Moon Bay

The main room seems like a dining hall' While tables are separated the open length and high ceiling detract from the ambiance. All table, chair and booth are comfortable and well spaced.

Once again, another delicious adventure was had by all at Pasta Moon. We started with the margherita pizza as a shared app while sipping our Bubbles and Berries cocktail. The summer salad is fabulous and I was able to swap out the goat cheese with feta so it was right down my strike zone. The mile high lasagna was fantastic and of course much of it came home with me since the portions are gigantic. The risotto and scallops were also a hit goi g well with the sparkling rose wine we purchased for all to share at the table. The final diamond on top of all this great food was the strawberry and rhubarb cobbler. Do not pass up the opportunity to try it!

We invited our friends over the hill to celebrate my wife's birthday with dinner at the Best Restaurant on the coast. They said the menu was great and had ravioli's and eggplant they said it was one of the best they have ever tasted. The service was like it always is it was,excellent. They had a fantastic time and said it was very worth coming over the hill for dinner. Now they understand why we think it's the best restaurant on the coast !

We sat at the bar and Weston provided great service and recommendations for appetizers. The pizza was great and we enjoyed a superb bottle of red wine. Pasta Moon is a great restaraunt!

Food was delicious! Atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Loved the piano music! Our waiter that night was very busy with many tables so did not visit the table frequently. The person responsible for replenishing the bread and water, and taking away the dishes, and packing up leftovers was excellent! He was super attentive, polite, and hardworking. He was a delight! Hopefully he will become a waiter soon!
