I was in the area a bit late and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the perch dinner, and I was really impressed. The hand-battered perch was fantastic, with a thin and crispy coating. The slaw and fries were also delicious. Since it's becoming harder to find good perch these days, I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. View all feedback.
What Kevin Kelsay doesn't like about Golden Chicken Hales Corners:
We normally get from the Waukesha location but we tried this one as it is closer to our business. The Chicken is over cooked and dry. The rolls were put right on top of the chicken and the fries are dark brown. Will not be returning to this location again. Not impressed. View all feedback.
Five stars for the best hot juicy chicken around!!!!
Just ordered a bunch of food for my Packer party... Aside from the fact that the chicken was delicious, the service was outstanding. They made sure I had everything I needed and were happy to help out. I'm pretty sure some of my buddies are going to be calling them for their next party lol. Thanks golden chicken
Great Food. Been ordering here for a couple years..great food. We've tried the Chicken, Pizza and the Ribs. The BBQ sauce is very unique, we love it. Just found out they deliver over by me in Greendale, that's awesome! Great jobs guys!
Chicken is great! The fish is...... First of all I've never been to a Golden Chicken before....having just moved to hales corners my family decided to try it. Whoa! The chicken is golden, moist and very flavorful. Last night though we tried the fish, specifically the cod fillets. One question, are these things caught that day???? Amazing fish, fresh, flaky and moist. Amazing sweets tartar as well. Good job guys. You've earned a new customer...and from the looks of things last night...the secret is out!!
Service is key!. The service here was really good. Though only 2 people were inside working at the time, and the lobby was quite full...I was always treated very nice, they always said thank you, and anything else i can get for you, etc. That's not always the case at some places when the phones are ringing, and the door keeps opening! These 2 gentlemen kept it cool!! We had the Mini Special (which is a house special i believe) The chicken was very juicy, even the white meat. I also tried the Cheese balls, very tasty! My kids really enjoyed the chicken nuggets and the bbq sauce! I hope this place does well! It's a nice place, and Hales Corners is quite lucky to have it!! Good Job Guys!
