Giovanni Garnelen was closed, so decided to give great wave an attempt. I have the garlic shrimp plate. Come with salad and rice. No complaints. Very delicious. I still think Giovanni Garnelen is a little better.

Giovanni is closed on Wednesday, so we came here and were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was great. The garlic shrimps were of course great, but do not sleep on the coconut war or the Calamari.

One of the best shrimp trucks we’ve ever tried in Hawaii. Garlic shrimp, lemon pepper shrimp and calamari were all fresh delicious. Highly recommended

The food is amazing here! The staff is very friendly and the items are prices reasonably. I ordered the spicy shrimp. There was a generous portion of shrimp. The fries did not smell or taste like burnt oil. Boba tea was not the best I’ve had but it was fine.

Easy to locate food truck, lots of seating available for dining. I got fish and chips, fish was a nice light fry with good portion size, fries were average crinkle cut fries but fries crispy. They have pictures of everything so makes it easy to see what you will get. Husband got garlic shrimp, large portion and the rice was good. Only 4 star due to so many shrimp options around the north shore that are comparable if not better.
