We had her Haleiwa Bomber Burrito with Jalapeños and her Kahlua pig sashers in Hawaiian roles. The pig in both dishes were juicy and taste packed. The Burrito reminded me of my San Diego house, but I wish it was Spicier. I also loved eating with our chicken friends outside of Kono?s. Good food, cool atmosphere and beautiful weather converged for a perfect start in our day.
Staff friendly and efficient. Helpful with menu and explanation of different options. The old school sandwich with chips and soft drinks ordered. Bread was fresh and soft. Chips were crispy and crispy. There was nothing here. Tables are in the shade, so eat here on hot days. Solid 4 for takeout fast eats.
We ate here twice when that tells you something. Breakfast Burrito was amazing and my family also enjoyed lunch Burritos. Also, as everywhere, there were chickens that roamed freely.
I?m so glad we stopped here! The food was superb, we devoured our plate and had to order seconds. It came out fast! Food is fresh, staff was helpful with suggestions-being that it was our first time here.
We got a breakfast bomber (chuns with avocado) and a sandwich. Both were delicious. I?m not normally a big fan of breakfast burritos, but I thought the chuns was very tasty. It?s also a cool experience to eat outside next to many wild chickens that sometimes come very close to you.
