Love this jewel of a find, went here twice! The Peruvian Surf and Turf was amazing! Perfect mix of flavors! Foodie satisfied!! Hubby had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl, which was also really good!! The second time we came, we had the Mexican Poke Shot that was good, and the Thai Poke- this was too sweet for me, needed something exciting to balance the sweetness: View all feedback.
After exploring the Waimea Valley and botanical gardens, we decided to grab a bite to eat. Among the various food trucks in the area, Aji Limo caught our attention as a spot offering authentic Hawaiian cuisine. I ordered the house special with marinated marlin, tomatoes, corn, sushi rice, and salad greens with their house dressing. My wife opted for the Banzai shrimp tacos with cabbage, carrots, and red bell peppers. Our children shared the "fish and chips" with marlin and rice, while my daughter-in-law ordered the yasaitame, a chicken stir-fry with rice. We found a picnic table, sat down, and waited for our food to be prepared. It was November, so the weather was mild and warm, perfect for enjoying our meal outdoors. This place seemed popular during peak tourist season, so waiting times may vary. Overall, Aji Limo was one of our favorite dining experiences on the island of Oahu.
Delicious food, amazing ambiance, ample seating with plenty of shade, efficient service, and a variety of other food trucks nearby for dessert and more! A must-stop if you're ever in the area. We tried the marlin tacos, which were new to us, and they were absolutely delicious.
This place is wonderful! After spending the day at Sharks Cove and Waimea Falls, we decided to stop at this gem for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the restaurant is conveniently located right across from Sharks Cove.
Love this jewel of a sound, went here twice! the Peruvian surf and turf was amazing! perfect mix of arome! eat satisfied! hubby had the Hawaiian poke bowl that was also really good! the second time we came, we had the Mexican Poke Shot that was good, and the thai poke- this was too sweet for me, needed something exciting to balance the sweet
Love the relaxed outdoor atmosphere here. They had a ton of food choices and enjoyed just sitting and eating with my family. My 2-year-old son was able to explore around a little bit so I would call this place child-friendly too.
