We arrived here after a 1000km drive so we were quite hungry and ordered several dished. They were all delicious and the waiter was really nice.

We drove all the way from Gyor in Hung... read more We looked on the website and this restaurant looked lovely and in such beautiful surroundings so we booked a table for 2. We drove all the way from Gyor in Hungary to have lunch ... what a waste it was! On arriving the staff were single handedly the rudest and most unhelpful people we ever had the misfortune of meeting. We stood inside for over 10 min while they completely ignored us I then tried to speak to a more elderly waiter who on hearing we spoke English shouted something at me in German and stormed past us. All staff were assisting other guests in German but flat out ignored us. After standing in shock for another 10min holding our booking confirmation we still hadn't been greeted, seated or even attended to. I work in hotels, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Not one person was aware of our booking or made the effort to check. We simply then walked out and drove back to Gyor to eat. This actually made us soo angry and upset to be deliberately treated this badly by several members of staff at a small restaurant is inexcusable. This horrible place actually deserves a ZERO Avoid it at all costs!!!!!!!

It was very hot that day and everything on the menu seemed so heavy! Perhaps more suitable for evening dining. At lunch I prefer something lighter!
