O... read more Excellent local food from Hakodate that is reasonably priced. Sashimi here tastes a lot sweeter and fresher than the donburi i had at the morning fish market. Owner was very nice. It was so good, i went here for dinner for both nights at hakodate!

One of the best Ive ever had. Thier fried Nagaimo is highly recommended. Everything is sooo tasty and the customer service is beyond excellent!! We will definitely go again!!!

I ended up here for dinner by accident but it turns out to be a blessing as the food is excellent and the staff is very helpful and offer amazing service. I ordered a variety of food a bit of nigiri sushi, sashimi, lamb, salad, etc. Most of the food is good and not typical of what we find in US sushi joint. I love the hotate (scallop) nigiri the most. It's by far the best scallop nigiri I've ever had. The tamago was fresh made and very moist. Can't complain about the Sapporo beer either. I had to catch a sailing cruise after dinner, and the staff/owner made sure the food was prepared in time, and have a cab waiting outside the restaurant with instruction to the cruise terminal. I realized later than the staff/owner has a large selection of sake and very knowledgeable about sake. It's a pity that I don't drink sake.

Make yourself a fallen and go over the 10min from the cable car and enjoy fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine. beautiful restaurant also and the chef speaks English and makes fun. English menu also available. Honestly, the best we had on our 10-day trip around hokkaido. good price! will definitely be back in hakodate!
