Village Bakery & Deli - Haines Junction

Recommended by our hosts, we decided to check out the village bakery for breakfast. Nice varieties of breakfast items, baked goods, breads... Coffee as well (although both my husband and I are not coffee drinkers). Prices are a bit on the high end but you are in the middle of ... nature... So, it's all good. Lovely setting - indoors and outdoors and a lot of posted activities... Had we stayed in Haines junction longer we would have definitely tried those too. Good place to stop by!

We were very happy to find this open restaurant that was more than offering this day a barbecue salmon for $32. salmon was good but salads and accompaniment, at will, not terrible. Good troubleshooting for junction hatreds.

Drink a drink or eat a pastry on the terrace...Sometimes, salmon dinner and salads with music.

Excellent food and service. Yes the prices are high but you have to remember how far you are from where their supplies come from. After a long, hot hike their tasty treats are just what is needed to perk you up.

This is an excellent stop for a snack, coffee or a filling meal. We had freshly made sandwiches and homemade soup. High quality, fresh and filling. Quick service and friendly staff. Coffee/drink bar has everything you need to help keep you awake if you're driving the long distances around here. Don't miss it if you're in the area!
