I went into the Moriah restaurant one day because it was hot and I was tired. My baby sleeps in a stroller and I didn 't want to move him to the car and disturb his sleep. I saw from the outside that there was a nice courtyard with shaded tables. Looks like a nice place to sit. I asked for a menu and found out that it was a vegan restaurant... I said to myself: Oh well, I 'll have a drink and continue on my way. I started reading the menu and I was confused! What the heck, everything looks delicious and really tempting! I did eat a delicious and satisfying lunch an hour and a half ago, but I have to taste this, and this, and this! From there, I ordered Khu Sui as a main course and tapioca for dessert. Both dishes were dreamy. really. in a way that is hard to describe in words. I haven 't enjoyed food in a restaurant so much in a long time. The flavors were surprising and exceptionally special. If you are in the Sderot Moriah area, do yourself a favor and come in and taste something. post Scriptum. Beyond the great food, the service was personal, courteous, professional and pleasant. I will start by saying that the place is charmingly decorated, with lots of natural light and a pleasant atmosphere. We got to check out the vegan options and they definitely have a lot. We ordered the Vietnamese salad and the Samber dish and for drinks we ordered the Azure smoothie and a tahini smoothie. The salad was delicious with fresh vegetables and clear bean noodles which was fun to eat but a little spicy, so if you are sensitive to spicy food pay attention. The sambar stew remind me of homey and warm Indian food, an overall nice dish and the chutney in the center was excellent. The smoothies were great and my favorite was the azure, which was fresh, sweet and delicious. For dessert we took tapioca, a likable but simple dessert that came with a sliced apple, cocoa and jam as a garnish on top. The prices are reasonable and the place serves as a kind of fusion between different Asian dishes like Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and India which star in most of the dishes.
The food was really good and the staff was very kind and accommodating. We randomly tried about half of the menu so far, and it has all been great. But they accidentally served a (dairy) cream cheese saucer on the side.

The smoothies were great and my favorite was the azure that was fresh, sweet and tasty. For dessert we took tapioca, a likable but simple dessert that came on top with a cut apple, cocoa and jam as a shrimp. Prices are reasonable and the place serves as a kind of merger between various Asian dishes such as Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and India that stare in most courts.

Moriah Café exceeded all my expectations with its relaxed, intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The food was tasty, we tried the vegan pad Thai and the herbal corma. The dessert, a nutritious chocolate mousse, was SO GOOD!
We had a really delicious breakfast including omelette and shakshuka with fantastic sourdough bread and chopped salad with mint. Yummy. My wife has also had a great lunch here, a bowl with tofu where her friends had a sambar and a Pad Thai. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
