Dinner at the farmshed what an experience. The tapas selection is extensive. Pork crackle to start with simply moorish!!! Grilled haloumi on a fresh salad and then the best prawn dish so moist and large lots of flavour. For us the star of the night was the duck doughnuts. The batter was light and full of duck, can i have more please these were beautiful. Thanks for making this a wonderful dining experience. View all feedback.
What Alexandria Hickle doesn't like about The Farm Shed:
We had so much anticipation about this place. Web site menu inaccurate to start with. Service is underwhelming. Not busy for a Saturday night which says a fair bit about the place. Pro's: Pork Belly, Wine and Walnut Salad. Cons: Beef cheek donuts, you may as well eat a bowl of salt! Expensive given the quality of food. Other dishes we ate were also average. Well, what a disappointment to say the least. Reasonable menu but very over priced, obviously trying to cash in on the tourism trade. $11 for an apple cider for a start, $12 for a glass of wine and certainly not top shelf! Off to a good start when we ordered the Meze plate only to be abruptly told "not available tonight" What the? Meal sizes were good, albeit one guest being charged $28 for some vegetables and cheese on a grill stone. Most of us had Pizza and they didn't disappoint fortunately (due to price). The women didn't finish their meals and were offered a box each which we thought was nice only to see a charge for the boxes on the bill. If is it wasn't for the fact that we have entertainment cards we would have suffered bill shock!! Oh, and for some reason the waitress would only accept 1 card.

Biggest disappointment was no prawns as the chef on a Sat night had no time to peel them as the waitress told us - unbelievable! As stated it was not busy for a Saturday night so I think other people have voted with their feet. It;s resounding ""no"" from me, try elsewhere.
What a lovely venue to enjoy an early Father's Day lunch with the family. A delightful restaurant in a rustic setting with an interesting menu with friendly service. We wanted to taste a variety of courses
Just another Subway reallyFast and efficient service and the usual range of subs and salads etc.
Spent a very pleasant summer evening at the Farm Shed. The tapas were very tasty, beautifully presented and substantial. We chose three (pork belly, meat balls and duck doughnuts) which was more than enough for the two of us. They were perfectly complemented by the warm beetroot, pumpkin, walnut, radish and rocket salad. Such a refreshing change from pub fare. We sat outside, but the character of the rustic interior looked very inviting for a cooler evening. The welcoming, friendly and efficient customer service made our visit to the Farm Shed a wholly enjoyable experience. We'll be back!
