We ate here before a day of hiking. The food was freshly baked and delicious! I had the doughnut. They're huge, wonderful and it really only takes one to fill you up. My wife had a gluten-free muffin that she also enjoyed. The gluten-free selection isn't huge, but there are a number of options and everything was great! A large and busy bakery - lots of standard baked goods. We wanted beesting or strudel but were disappointed. Plenty of apple pies etc. we did not stay in the cafe or try coffee but it seems popular. View all feedback.
What a great bakery. Had the best chicken and mushroom pie ever. Chock full of chicken pieces you had to bite off they were so big, lots of mushies and beautiful pastry The cakes and slices were delicious and they use real cream!!!
Best bakery in town. A range of traditional German and modern baked goods including meat pies, sausage rolls, streusel, strudel, fruit pies, cakes and more.
After travelling around Australia this bakery hands down wins my vote for the best pies in Australia. Tried steak , rosemary and lamb and the family shepherds pie. Chunky and full of real tender ingredients. The cakes are amazing as well. Friendly staff good coffee what more do you need
One of our favorite Bakeries the cakes and buns are the best the honey logs and Kitchener Buns are delicious fresh cream. How ever we bought a family size pie the Chunky Steak cheese and bacon for $25 liked amazing for lunch today, that were it ended the steak was very tuff and chewy and had bitter taste to it which makes not a fresh product, such a shame. If we lived a bit closer I would have taken it back.
I used to consider this place my favorite spot for lunch and always gave it high ratings. However, I was disappointed during my recent visit. The quality has declined and the dining experience is now average at best. Instead of plates and cutlery, they now serve food in paper cups, wooden utensils, and paper bags. The pies weren't as tasty as before and the banana cake was stale.
