We dined at this restaurant after seeing favourable reviews on TA, and it didn't disappoint. Friendly waiting staff and delicious food, good size portions, well priced enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere made for a lovely evening. We did book, and noted the restaurant had a steady flow of patrons along with people collecting takeaway. Highly recommend this restaurant in Hahndorf. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nepalese Temptations:
The service at this restaurant is extremely polite and friendly. We were given complimentary pappadums while we looked at the menu, which was a nice touch. However, when we placed our order, some dishes were not available, which was disappointing. The food we did receive was good, but not exceptional and lacked spiciness. My biggest complaint was the restroom, which was a public toilet located outside and did not hav... View all feedback.

Been here a couple of times now and have really enjoyed the food, ambience and service each time. The Nepalese curries are more subtle than the Indian curries, spicy rather than hot and the restaurant offers a good range, especially liked the fish curry. Easy to find (opposite to the road to Echunga) and usually plenty of parking after 5pm.
We really enjoyed the change to the heavy German-style food that is on offer in most of the hotels and restaurants. Good range of food that is very tasty but not too hot. Had an enjoyable chat to the genuine Nepalese-born owners. Charming.
My work colleagues and I visited the Nepalese Temptations restaurant on a Tuesday night. It was the first time anyone of us have tried Nepalese food and I believed it was a cross of Indian and South East Asian food.I tried the tasting plate for one which I found to be quite nice whilst my colleagues both had the goat curry. Both of them rated this very highly. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant had a good spread of patronage throughout the night.Overall we were very happy with the food and service.
Had a nice evening out. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and when I requested some extra rice they provided it quickly. Maybe I would have appreciated some extra spicy condiments, but they have probably toned things down for western palates. I'm sure they would have provided some chilli if I had thought to ask. Their service generally was prompt, but friendly and relaxed which was great. Likely to go back some time.
