Burger Barn - HAGERSVILLE

Stopped in at the Burger Barn in Ohsweken, Ontario for a lunch/supper meal. Apparently they are doing well considering the number of vehicles that were there at mid day. We ordered their famous hamburger which is known as one of the top 10 in Canada. As an appetizer, we ordered what is called "Three Sisters" soup. It contained beans, corn, potatoes, dumpling, salt pork and squash. It was extremely good. Found that the hamburger was very filling but managed to finish eating it. As a second item, we chose to take 2 soups home with us for another meal (later on). Would recommend going there for your next meal if you are in the neighbourhood. We had two servicer that were friendly and were knowledgeable. Made us feel welcome.

Food here is huge. Bowl of chili, enough for two meals. Best Chili ever. Burgers are super sized, food tasted great. Service was good.Restaurant was busy. Only thing for you to know if you go the specialty burgers are especially expensive. There are cheaper options on the menu, if you like me, have to be on a budget. Not too hard to find with some directions from a friendly local. I would eat here again.

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch today. It was our second visit and was someplace that deserves repeat visits. Last time I had the BBQ Smokehouse Burger. It was good, but I was craving something a little more conventional this time. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. Tasty, but not too messy. My wife had the fish and chips which she thought were very well done with a meaty portion of fish. We both had the Sweet Tea which was refreshing change from pop. The server was super friendly and went out of her way to make our experience great. Can't wait for my next visit. Maybe I'll have room left for one of their delicious desserts.

Disappointing lunch. Very slow service......waited and waited while others around us were served. The meat was charred and dry. Must have been an isolated incident as other reviews are very positive. We will not hurry back.

Delicious good...great prices! Lots of leftovers!! Amazing pulled pork poutine! My brother attempted the Junkyard burger...but he failed haha!
