For many, "mild" doesn't necessarily mean no spice but rather only lightly spiced, and "medium" can often be quite spicy. Conveniently located in a large shopping and hotel area, Sitar of India provides a quality, tasty Indian cuisine. Staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. They carefully adjust the spice heat of a dish to individual taste and go from mild (1) to very hot (10). Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended.
Ate there 3-18-22. Food was good. Appeared to have quality ingredients. Didn't know what dishes we were eating off buffet (no signs) but mostly everything I tried was good. Would recommend to others Ate there again on 5-2-22 and ordered off menu. ordered chicken 65, vegetable samosas, garlic naan. Everything was extremely good. Recommend Sitar of India to anyone.
We arrived just a few minutes before closing, not realizing the time, and the staff reacted poorly. They made us feel quite unwelcome.
This is the best place in Hagerstown for Indian food—actually, it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever had!
