Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This was the worst food I've EVER had at a Cracker Barrel establishment! If you eat at Cracker Barrel, you've probably eaten at several, especially when you travel. Well, we are traveling and was hungry, so we knew that when we stop here, we will get thesame great servce and great hot food, because normally, they are all the same no matter where you eat. WEEEELLLL, how SHOCKEDwere we when our food was brought out. Scrambled eggs were more like fried and folded, steak was over cooked with ABSOLUTELY noseasoning. They both seemed to be competing to see which could taste more like cardboard! I even used A1 and didn't help. Then Isaid let me try the pancakes... HA JOKES ON ME! I looked at them and knew they resembled NOTHING of the pancakes we know of whenwe think of Cracker Barrel. But I tried them anyway! HA! I must have been thinking of Russian Roulette! Pancake mix was morethan likely bought from the ALDI across the street. Tasted every bit of the JUST ADD WATER pancake mix! It tasted like fluffyrubber! Cracker Barrel's pancakes are normally melt in your mouth good with crispy edges of buttery goodness! THIS WASN'T IT! Sonow we're on our way and still hungry! Y'all see this mess?

We hadn?t eaten at Cracker Barrel in a long time. The food was amazing and service very quick. Nina has been our server twice now and she?s the best. She?s direct, quick and doesn?t waste time. Also very observant and refills drinks without needing toask.

Wow, I absolutely loved this place! The ambiance deserves a solid 5 out of 5—it was fantastic. I ordered the Sunday special beef stew, and it completely blew me away. It felt like I was dining at a local restaurant, completely different from chain establishments. The Thanksgiving turkey was also excellent. I highly recommend trying their winter drinks; they're fantastic. I truly enjoyed my visit. There was a bit of confusion with my order due to the crowd, and the waiter made a mistake, but that's totally fine—no complaints!

I will always have a positive opinion of Cracker Barrel! Their catfish brings me joy throughout the day, especially when it's fried to perfection, just like in the photo! Most of the time, the service is excellent! The biscuits and gravy have the perfect flavor and consistency!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The gift shop at the entrance is a delightful touch, filled with unique items and toys that remind me of my childhood. I also enjoy the rocking chairs on the front porch. The food is delicious, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy. During our last visit, the waitress was incredibly friendly, and the woman in the gift shop took the time to share details about their fantastic holiday toys. She truly encouraged me to come back during the Christmas season. I will definitely return!
