Great new place in town. Loved the salad bar, lobster bisque soup was delightful. Our server was attentive, pleasant and motivated, she did great for a newbie. Our dinner was tasty. Will go again, nice place for a special meal View all feedback.
What Dusky R doesn't like about Fable's Kitchen:
The first meal there was very good. Easter buffet was like eating at your college dorm cafeteria. It was the only menu option and wasn't mentioned when I made reservations. View all feedback.
Delicious food! Prices are very reasonable. Staff and owners are fabulous. You’re missing out if you don’t give it a try.
The food was very good and the staff works very hard. I will return when I'm back in Red Wing. Salad bar is fully stocked and worth the price. Beef sandwich was really good with normal fries.
Love the atmosphere here. The servers were very friendly, the portion sizes were large, and my ribeye was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Salad bar was fresh with a lot of variety. Highly recommend!!
Just returned home from my 4th visit to this fantastic addition to Red Wing's restaurant offerings. This particular visit did not include food, but reminded me of why I am drawn to this establishment. Extremely friendly and welcomig atmosphere. The staff and ownership group do an excellent job in making you feel appreciated for your patronage. My three previous visits were all exceptional in regards to the quality of the meals. Saturday nights prime rib buffet, which included numerous other items was delicious and a good value! The live music on Saturday evening was an additional bonus.
Great to have a rare new offering in Red Wing! Service was outstanding. That was a highlight. Our server worked hard to please. It seems like a fancy place, but it’s got a long way to go. Smashed up paper napkins, off balance table and red wine served in cheap little glasses. I expect more for $25 plus entrees. The food was another highlight. Walnut walleye? Outstanding! Jumbo shrimp? Good but too salty. Carmelized broccoli was very good. So were the green beans . Salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Final issue was the 3% charge for a “non-cash adjustment.” This fee for using a credit card was hidden in the final check and added into the Total tax with “other tax.” Other tax was sales tax. Little thing, but it’s the principal. Raise your prices a few cents to cover your cost of doing business. Don’t punish me for not carrying a wad of cash to dinner. Bottom line: Real potential but definitely work to be done on the front of the house experience. I’d love to give 5 stars. It’s not there yet but I will try again.
