Restaurant Essence - Hägen

Excellent burgers! Good outdoor seating and service were fast. Good menu choice and selection. Nice location.

We have been here a few days ago and have eaten very good carvings with delicious champignons and paprikasauce. there were fresh salads. also very good. the pommes were cool served in the fun basket. after that there was - on very nice teller - delicious earthbeereis. before we had great hunger and after that we were so tired. the service was very nice. you felt very comfortable. a very nice local. we will recommend it 100%!

We have been with a good note in the essence. We got a table in contrast to the drinks quickly..Since we had a 4 courses menue the suppe came first. that was very tasty. then it took forever until the second was there. that was an salate, so there can not be time for preparation. We didn't have to wait so long, but it was a disappointment. has tasted well, but it was so small that we thought to get an appetizer. whether it was because we came with a good certificate or always so I cannot say of course.The dessert was then very good again, but overall you cannot really recommend the visit of the restaurant. we're not going there anymore.

We, my friend and I were on a Saturday night in hagen and wanted to eat something and drink a few cocktails. I was about. 4 years ago there was a date and thought it was nice there. we walked in there and were allowed to get around. 45min wait until we have been addressed at all, although we have already received eye contact to the condition when we enter directly. you have to say it was approx. 3 pairs and a 4 group load throughout. when we then wait after 45 min then had ordered drinks then came after 15 min the 2 cocktails. then we said that we wanted to eat something and they said that the kitchen was closed for half an hour. what should this be because we have to wait extremely long for a low-grade cocktail and then I am told that they have closed the kitchen in this time. correct juice. my friend and I could then eat more in the evening because this time window had taken us all the other possibilities. I don't know any expression which describes this situation because disappointment would not even be the point of what we felt. never again essence!

Have been many times in the essence and has never been disappointed. very tasty eating, friendly service and reasonable prices. In summer you can sit well outside, beautiful ambiente.
