Came for a wedding. the staff went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble. Hotel very clean with stunning grounds would recommend to everyone.
Had a afternoon tea very nice if a bit fattening, nice old buildings shame it will be yet more housing flats etc next yearService: 5/5 …More
We had a very enjoyable and peaceful tea there (only people in the restaurant area). The new refurb and decor are excellent and restrained. The service was very good and the tea was as expected; plenty of it, fresh and good value compared to other venues. We would have liked a choice of Darjeeling tea but they didn't have it. The scones were lovely. Such an incredible shame the hotel and grounds have been offered up to the gods of greed and money for new housing in a year or two.
Hotel in a nice country side location and and looks quite impressive from the outside. The room we stayed in was quite large but could have benefited from some modernization. We had an evening meal and were the only ones eating so as can be imagined there was no atmosphere, the breakfast I was just say was ok, we waited about 30 mins for cooked breakfast, then items where missing, coffee and bread for the toast ran out. Overall it served at purpose for an overnight stay but would not be returning. Service: 3
