What User doesn't like about Hadlow Manor:
The atmosphere is lacking, with a bland decor and wooden floors that absorb all sound. The staff seemed perfectly ordinary, but I don't know what tea they served me; it had an unusual taste that I couldn't drink. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. View all feedback.

It’s quite disappointing that the hotel and its grounds are being sacrificed to greed for new apartments in just a year or two.
We ordered two coffees but received one stone-cold cup and a tea instead. When a waitress finally came back, we reiterated our order for two coffees, but she apologized, explaining that she was the only staff member available and was also handling a wedding party. When the food arrived, the sandwiches were overly salty and dry. Throughout our visit, no one checked on us to see if we were satisfied, and we did not receive the champagne that was supposed to be included with our booking. When we mentioned that it was our special day as we had recently married at Hadlow, no one offered congratulations. When it came time to pay, we had to wait for assistance at the reception. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I can understand why this establishment may struggle to retain customers.
Was not disappointed with my second visit for Afternoon Tea here. Service was attentive but never intrusive and the food delicious. Thank you.
Lovely afternoon tea. One thing was that service was a little slow, nothing major but staff were very friendly, the room was airy and nice on a hot day and we enjoyed ourselves. Lots of food!
Scones were hard, got the wrong sandwiches, cakes were tasteless.
