Description

Goodbeet offers a wholly vegan and gluten-free dining experience amidst a clean, inviting café atmosphere. While the menu features a variety of creative dishes, quality has fluctuated, with some patrons noting underwhelming flavors and portion sizes. Standouts include the fantastic crispy potatoes and creamy coconut-based soft serve ice cream, making it a destination for dessert lovers. Despite occasional misses—such as bland burgers on mediocre buns—the overall vibe remains positive, with friendly service and a commitment to organic ingredients. Many diners express a desire to return and explore the diverse menu options, hoping for an improved culinary experience.

Vegan, gluten-free organic, and everything from their kitchen is made in-house! As Mike (Manager said, “We’re not trying to make food that tastes like meat.” …No Impossible or Beyond products (yeay . He told us that the owner was in finance, had Celiacs, and no place to get good, clean food out. So Goodbeet was born! And THANK YOU for it too! He also said that their community kept them running during the lockdown. We both had the Better Burger — think vegan ‘Big Mac’. The tasty patties are made with walnuts, portobello mushrooms black beans, layered on nut-bread bun (forgot ingr. , special sauce, butter lettuce, and Fishtown (from Philly pickles

The food is always stellar, my mom is also vegan and this is our go-to lunch spot. Even my meat eater dad enjoys it here!

Super cute little cafe with great sandwiches. The spicy potatoes side is definitely my favorite thing we had, and my tofu sandwich was delicious. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures! I also liked the little market attached- they had some items I’ve been looking for but don’t have in my local stores.
