I asked for a medium fillet steak and it was cooked for perfection. As I like it. The mushroom sauce was a big compliment to the steak. A crispy fresh garden salad. And of course crisp freshly made chips. I'd definitely go back. View all feedback.

I attended a one day function in the Annexe.Access, food, drink, facilities etc were all very "normal" for a catered event - no complaints, nothing to write home about.However, it was a warm day and the airconditioning was required. I was here for a wedding reception and dinner. The staff is wonderful. The food is great. The atmosphere fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the lengths they have gone to absorb allergies and also vegetarian / vegan diners. A rare treat to see a WHOLE PAGE for Vego menu items! Good to go.

This place has a nice feeling. Beautiful outer surface. Good staff and good value for money. A favorite of me is her Crispy Skin Salmon! They also do functions. Returned since the above review and uses the restaurant area. Eat as good as ever! The staff is wonderful and well trained in the art of waiting on tables in an inconspicuous way. 10 of 10 for smile and customer service!
4.5 stars would be more accurate because there is always room for improvement. Today was the second time we were in about 6 weeks. The first time was a rare date night and we just got the parm and beer trade. We loved it! Best pub meal/cut that we had for a long time. The girl was beautiful and so kind that stuck with me. We're 1 year old in tow today. Another great meal, and the same bar girl worked and again fantastic service. Definitely top of our list now for this rare dinner outings.
Great service, nice pub food, attentive staff. Very good with vegan/vegetation menu, will adjust meals to requirements, conscious of dietary requirements. Staff seem happy, which is a plus, and they take care. Will be back

Okay, maybe I haven't been to this pub all that often, but after visiting it for lunch on a recent (or not to recent now that it's June) trip to Adelaide I
What poor service june the 2nd booking 730 sorted 745 had to ask to order as got sick of waiting then after one hour 20 mins had to as where is or food to be told 5 mins still had to wait then asked for manager God it as only chicken and chips then 20 mins waiting for sweets got up and left staff slow and rude .can not understand any business being like it customer service its what pays your bill never never go there

We walked in greeted by the lovely staff, choose our table, after we tried two other places close by and not impressed with the other places. The Hackney highly recommend the food. Amazing! We had burger, snitzels and Cambert bread very tasty! We also said to staff we were going to share a meal and the girls were more than happy to accommodate. Nice n private atmosphere! We will be back for sure.
