Y Pupuseria Los Veliz - Hackettstown

My first time here and OMG the Pupusas are the BEST I've ever had hands down and only 2 bucks each for the bean and cheese Pupusas with their homemade cole slaw and a nice sauce to pour over them. I ordered the Daily Special and it was Very big thin steak with rice, fried plantains and corn tortilla and homemade chicken soup with chunks of vegetables and chicken .All that food for around 8 bucks . I will be eating here at least 2 or 3 times a week because its homemade and real food . Highly Recommended place to eat in, Or take out. John

1st time there , food was great. Bit of a wait, its better to call in before for pickup but it was worth it.

I ordered a variety of pupusas filled with beans and cheese, chorizo and cheese, and pork. I got them for my sister-in-law and niece to try for the first time. They were delicious and they both really enjoyed them! The pupusas arrived fresh and hot, so we had to wait for them to cool down before we could dig in.

The dining experience was fantastic, with friendly staff and an absolutely delicious meal. The horchata was outstanding and the rice was simply amazing.

I ordered the wings the other day and to my surprise and disappointment, they had no flavor and there was a dead fly in them. I was so disgusted that I threw away the container and went to McDonald's instead. I will not be returning.
