Taste Of Italy Pizzeria - Hackettstown

From my NJWinenDIne Yelp Review: Note: I am a food and very hard to please. I've been living in this area for 15 years, and this is the best new restaurant opening I've seen all this time. The chef/owner has top cook pedigree, as he was the chef at the best place in the area so far (but unfortunately closed). This place is a wolf in sheep clothing. Yes, they have made all Italian American favorites and perfect (shrimp parm is my favorite), but they also have higher end specialties that are served in each of the best restaurants, but at prices you ask how they do it. Professional, friendly waiting staff, high quality food, comfortable environment, and make reservations on weekends as the word has spread and it becomes increasingly difficult to get a place (it will all)! Make sure to get the roasted Calamari (best ever), mixed grill when it is on special, paella, grilled salmon, Sambuca Shrimp, orecchiette with sausage and Sautéed Broccoli ravene with garlic, they serve risotto with many special and excellent (try the mushroom) and up and down. Desserts are great and so is the cappuccino. Try the zeppoles! I tried most of the things on this menu and was never disappointed, just woven. After this place where the old Pietro 's (and then Bella 's next to the old blockbuster and over 46 of Target) was perfect, since parking is wide and to the left is the newly opened shoprite wines and liquors grab a bottle like A Taste of Italy is also a BYO! Wooooooooooooo! I am a happy customer who comes at least 3 times a week, so I have the most insights and experiences with this restaurant against others who have come and published once or twice. Thank you. Louis and team to forget about the rest, there is nothing, even near this quality here and for the price; it's not a brain. I've already made three birthday parties here and planned more events. You have a catering menu and was thrilled with the catering order as well as for my daughter's birthday and my mother's senior center holiday. Mom's Italian friends were thrilled with the food. Veramente delizioso! My family loves it and it's the first place we want to go when we go for a meal.

Great pizza, just pasta ordered and a baked duck for the first time and that was also great. Great staff, which is also very polite. I love everything about this place.

You can easily miss this excellent restaurant/pizza place in Patriots Plaza in Hackettstown. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Food is very good and in about 5 visits we have found something that we did not like.

So came to MRI Square next door and, while waiting, decided to have a lunch... oh my God!!! What a pleasant surprise was to discover this little hidden jewel. Amazing food, great service and very inexpensive. Will definitely come back...

We ate there for the first time. Had chicken with spinach, prosciutto and pasta in a Marsala sauce. Very good and nice size portion. Garlic knots wonderful. Reasonably priced for a family of four. Next time, will try the pizza.
