Contribute FeedbackNestled on Main Street, a restaurant has become a focal point of polarized opinions. Detractors criticize its lackluster ambiance, cluttered signage, and perceived political propaganda, linking the establishment to right-wing ideals and anti-science stances. Complaints extend to the food quality, with reviews highlighting unappetizing soups and subpar bread. In contrast, some patrons advocate for the restaurant, praising its commitment to healthy eating despite the controversy. The stark divide in experiences underscores the challenges facing businesses that intertwine political beliefs with culinary offerings, leaving potential diners questioning whether to venture in or steer clear.
Is this place ever open / always in business? they seem to be much on rettung, maybe from the storm of the capitol or whatever. I'd stop it as if I'd try some of her suppe if I didn't think I was poisoned. not only that, but can you become a little more creative with your signage and window displays? It's getting pretty boring.
I ordered the matzoh ballsuppe and they were completely unusable. if they cannot make matzoh balls, then they either learn the right way to make them or take it from the menu. They were brown, dense and hard and tasty. I have eaten this type of suppe countless times and know a good one when I taste it. the broth was tasty.
Eating was good, but! very extreme political views as patrioticism concealed! it is not worth their time unless they read propaganda signage. regardless of political views, for me I want to eat instead of feeling like I am at a rally.
Blew. real healthy food that tastes amazing. it is very sad to see that a business gets so much negative attention to promoting freedom, but I think these are the times we live in. I'll eat here forever. the best and healthiest eating in hackettstown.
Tacky with all of their signs littering their front window. Just full of disgusting opinions ever since CO-VID, and don’t think we forgot about those anti semitism posters and books that use to be out on display on the window. Google photos will always keep that evidence around. This is all very unnecessary and immature for a business which I would like to assume is people well old enough to know, but I guess that’s boomers for you... I hate to see this dent in our beautiful Main Street.Just mind your own business and use it towards making actual good food. No wonder this place is always empty, especially with those ridiculous prices to keep up with the lack of customers.
