I had always wanted to try KFC, so I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a large fries. The fries were decent, but some were as hard as rocks. The sandwich had a decent amount of spice but was very dry and tough. Paying $10 for food that’s difficult to eat is disappointing. I won’t be returning.
I’d rather drive to the Ledgewood KFC, which is far better than this location. The chicken here always seems overcooked and dry. The complimentary sides are never served generously, and the soda tastes bad. This KFC definitely needs new ownership, management, and staff.
In my opinion, the chicken didn't taste like the traditional KFC recipe. The mashed potatoes and gravy were weak in flavor, and the biscuit was dry and bland. Even the Pepsi was disappointing. I really don’t understand what’s going on with quality control at this KFC.
I ordered a couple of chicken sandwiches, but they arrived cold, and the buns were hard and stale. When I returned to the counter to discuss the issue, the staff member with colored hair didn't say anything to me. I explained the situation, and she simply threw the sandwich in the trash and handed me another cold one. It's worth noting that they promote it as made-to-order. Overall, it was a disappointing experience—I'd recommend avoiding this location. The customer service was severely lacking.
I visited this local restaurant a few months back and had a great experience. This time, however, the coleslaw really stood out; it was fantastic! On the downside, the chicken didn’t live up to expectations; it tasted like it had been reheated several times, which isn’t typical for them. As for the famous biscuits, they're usually fresh and delicious, but this time they were so bad I would’ve considered using them as hockey pucks if it had been winter. That really says it all.
