W... read more I would have given a 1-star rating, but Sapphire, the manager, changed my mind. My coworkers and I had made a reservation for four on a quieter Tuesday night. When one more coworker decided to join us, we called Houston's to see if we could add them to our reservation. The woman who answered the phone was quite rude and informed us that we would have to forfeit our reservation if we didn't stick to the original number. Feeling this was unfair, we were about to request to speak with a manager when Sapphire herself got on the line. She apologized for the poor service and acknowledged that the behavior we experienced was unacceptable. She ensured she would personally greet us when we arrived and promised to assign us one of the best servers to enhance our evening. As for the food, it was, of course, delicious. While things can go awry during busy nights, the thoughtful and attentive customer service truly made a difference.

Her professional... read more I had lunch on an early weekday, and there's always a wait at this popular place. Today, our server was April, and she was absolutely magnetic. Her professionalism and charisma made our experience exceptional. We visit Houston’s throughout the year, but this was by far our best experience at the table. We enjoyed the ribs, tuna salad, and Old Fashioned drinks. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, and the food and drinks were delicious.
