I wasn't at a firehouse, and I can't quite recall why, but I really enjoyed my sandwich during this visit. The highlight of my experience was the Firehouse Kirsche/Lime Soda; it was definitely worth the trip. I could have given an extra half-star if it weren’t for the pickles—they were just a bit too much for a sandwich shop, if you know what I mean. Tsk, tsk! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Firehouse Subs Hackensack Commons:
I visited the restaurant at 11:30 AM, and instead of the staff taking orders, they were busy preparing food. It seems that at Firehouse Subs, online orders are prioritized. I ended up waiting 25 minutes before someone finally took my order, which took another 10 minutes to prepare my sandwich. Regarding the food, the menu stated that a dill pickle would come with the sandwich, but I didn’t receive one. I put the sand... View all feedback.
I was in the Hackensack area today with my husband, and we were searching for a good sub shop. Unfortunately, we ended up at Fireworks. It was my first time there, and the cashier recommended the Cajun chicken sub. However, it turned out to be terrible. The chicken had a weird, chewy texture, and it was topped with some salad and hot sauce. Overall, it was not enjoyable, and I won't be purchasing their subs again. If you're looking for a good sub, I suggest giving this place a pass.

Nice dinner. A little slow to prepare, but they have a Coke Freestyle machine, plus the sandwich can come with a side salad option, and the salad was much better than I expected (fresh but not too nice).
I went to the restaurant at 11:30. Instead of the staff who took orders, they prepared food. I guess at Firehouse Subs, online orders are done first. 25 minutes wait until someone takes my order for 10 minutes on sandwich. The hero sandwich was terrible. Will be my first and last time here
Placed at about 9 a.m. and an order for dining in the food was placed in a bag to go. Then at 9:45 a.m. tried to go 1 order and was recommended the location is now closed. Bad costume service. This review comes from a law enforcement and firefighter employee.
