Carvel - Hackensack

I initially had reservations about dining at a restaurant in a strip mall, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the experience was! The full service we received was excellent. Ordering a cake was a breeze, with quick and easy service in person. They offer a wide variety of both hard and soft ice creams, including the delicious Fudgey the Whale. Our server was lovely and the ice cream was great.

A pretty good selection of ice cream. The ice cream itself is a tad bit on the sweeter side but the waffle cones were good. The place feels a bit dated so they should refresh the interior. Otherwise I do recommend going there.

I absolutely adore Carvel ice cream! Who can resist their delicious ice cream cakes? The staff at this location made the experience even more enjoyable. They were so friendly and cheerful. We had a great time celebrating our pup's 13th birthday on June 22nd.

Nice Carvel location. Staff was quick and helpful. Service was kind and courteous. The ice cream was good! Only downside to this location is parking. It’s a tight parking lot, with lots of other business, sometimes hard to get parking.

This restaurant is just as delicious as I remember from my childhood, but the prices have certainly gone up. However, the quality of the food justifies the cost and you won't be disappointed. I was tempted to give it a 4-star rating because of the prices, but the taste is so exceptional that I have to give it five stars.
