First and probably last time. The food was spicier than expected even though I ordered one notch above the lowest or bland choice. Also the veggies in the broth were kind of blah, carrots, broccoli, etc. No choy or mushrooms? View all feedback.

I’ve been staying here for years and during my stay this week, I had an emergency and have to check out and travel to another Marriots . They still charged me the extra night. They should have waved it especially how much my work does business with them. That’s too bad. Been a loyal customer and will not return here again since they value the money more than servicing their customers. View all feedback.
This hotel does not care about you or your money. Reservations were AWEFUL, bought a coffee from the bistro that wasn't made right, rooms had mud on the floor, hairs all over the desk and rooms weren't ready at check in.... brought evidence and pictures and they offered NO COMPENSATION ....AT ALL. They gave me alcohol wipes for me to wipe down the desk.... that is IT!!!!! I got a housekeeper to vacuum my room and I wiped the tables down (see the picture below...that is after one wipe! . this hotel is no Marriott.... felt more like a day's inn.... once you are in they could care less.
Note: I only used the room, and not any of the amenities. On approach, the hotel looks like any 3-star hotel in LA. Unremarkable. Upon entering my room, I was surprised by how new and plush the interior is. It's almost as if I entered a different hotel. The room was spacious, furniture new. It can easily accommodate 4 to 5 people hanging out with no problem. The location is away from major thoroughfare, so very quiet. Highly recommend it.
Refreshed rooms and lobby are tastefully done and very functional/ergonomic. The bed was very comfortable, the heating/AC worked quietly, and well. The building is older with an odd layout, so you're better off taking the stairs (if you can find them). Hotel is also well located and staff are cheerful and informative. The downside is, this is just a Courtyard, from the 80s. Ceilings are low, corridors are long and elevators are hard to find. Many rooms have motel style parking lot views. So the higher end prices are not justified and there are fees and upcharges that make the price point way too high. Parking is $10 for no reason. In terms of takeaways, there's no free breakfast or lobby coffee. Skimpy bath amenities tipped the balance, so I ended up feeling taken advantage of, not welcomed. Staff apologized and pointed to hiring problems but if the property can't staff a breakfast, maybe they can waive the parking fee instead of pocketing my $10 and holding onto the salary savings.
We have stayed at this Courtyard for many years as it is near to our daughter. It has been completely remodeled and it is lovely. From the reception area to the rooms, everything is new and sparkling. The removal of the tub and the new large shower is very good. and much safer for older guests.
Heavily congested parking lot with Contract Cell Tower workers staying at the hotel. Multiple heavy trailers frequently parked at irregular angles and workers who perform assembly operations for the cell tower equipment right in the parking lot leaving nails and screws laying around. Housekeeping does a fair job with the beds... and that’s most important right... but long black hairs throughout the bathroom (I am bald) and poorly cleaned floors (tile and carpet) have been the new normal at this property over my last several stays here. Long black hairs in the bathroom on 5 out of my last 5 stays. Hallways frequently smell like marijuana. Been staying here for almost 4 years... staff has changed over during the past 18 months.
