What a tasty bite: this restaurant is located directly outside the city center of haarlem, about 15 minutes from the grote market or...5 minutes drive (if in ro... read more What a tasty bite: this restaurant is located directly outside the city center of haarlem, about 15 minutes from the grote market or...5 minutes drive (if in rom. and halfway you can in the largest church of holland (st. bvo kathedrale). it is worth the walk/travel when looking for the authentic local restaurant experience. the menu is (like most Dutch restaurants French cuisine and the dishes we had were of best quality. in everything on the teller you could see that the cook does not only know what he does, but also that he is proud to prepare and present him. and the service is also excellent; not stiff and stiff, but relaxed and friendly. Price quality is top notch. and the safe walk back to the center through the pitoresque hairline completes a perfect night. we're coming back!
