Ne Cocktail - Ha Noi

I had a great time at this restaurant. The music was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were amazing.

It was my favorite bar experience in Hanoi. We had to wait for a bit to get a table, but the waiter brought us some water while we waited. The bartenders were friendly and skilled. All of the cocktails tasted amazing. It is a professional establishment and it's clear why they have won awards. They incorporate local flavors into their cocktails, which I always find intriguing. This is definitely a top-notch bar!

I was doing a little Pho cocktail research and found out about Ne from another bartender. Was supposed to meet a friend but she could not make it so it was a solo night. The pho cocktail has a subtle herb flavour and tad bit too sweet for me. I actually requested for less sugar but I guess this was not picked up since the bartender made two at the same time. Presentation is very beautiful though. I have to admit this is not the best Pho cocktail I’ve had in Hanoi so far. I also had the chilli negroni which I thought was going to be different from the rest of the Negronis available but I was wrong. It was too spicy for me or anyone else as a matter of fact as the chilli level is on explosion mode... Bartender was very nice to offer another one but I said no thank you because I was going to leave already. It's actually a very very nice drink if it has a hint of spiciness instead of a bomb of spiciness. I felt their drinks are less gimmicky straight to the point good drinks and reasonably priced. I am definitely interested in other drinks Will definitely return if I do go back to Hanoi!!

This place is fantastic! It has a speakeasy atmosphere. We arrived around 8:30 on a Saturday and there were plenty of seats, but it got busier over the next hour. We tried the pho cocktail and the under bridge cocktail, both of which were incredible. It's definitely on the pricier side for drinks (160k to 225k per drink), but it's worth a visit and cheaper than back home (the US)!

The place has a nice ambience and the staff were welcoming and helpful when questioned about the cocktails. We started with the pho and moonlight shadow. Both were excellent and a must try here. Next we tried cherry blossom and the forgotten, the CB was quite nice especially if you like sweet cocktails. The coffee egg mix in the forgotten was nice but I wasn't a fan of the white wine underneath it and found mixing it didn't help much either. Lastly we got the Hanoian and city of stars. I was not a fan of the Hanoian but probably because I'm not a fan of campari as it's so bitter. I assumed melting the coconut ice cream into it would make it sweeter bit it just made it taste almost like bubblegum flavour. The city of stars was nicer but a bit sweet for me. What spoilt our evening was when attempting to pay the staff said the machine was not accepting my card and they did not seem to care. I gave them 3 cards to try and with none working they just blamed the faulty machine. Luckily I withdrew a lot of Vietnamese dong before coming here and paid with that. Won't be going back just due to this.
