this restaurant was a really beautiful surprise, as this was our first time in gyor. the eating is great, the spicy fish soup was the highlight, highly recommended. and I must say it is great to find a waiter who dominated the English language in Hungarian, unfortunately did not catch his name but kudos it. The only reason for giving 3 stars instead of two is that the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food was not good at all. We had a garlic soup that tasted like made from some powder, fish cracklings that were a bit soggy, a catfish paprikás with cottage cheese pasta the fish was stale, not salty enough, the pasta overcooked and dull. Good food but not som good as hungarian standard. Waitress was kind. We where there at time when they had music performance and it was kind a loud. Better to make a reservation at friday evning. Was full.
