After my usual place to stop at gympie was closed for renos my husband rang around to find a place for my daughter and i to stop quickly for dinner. He got paula at the australian hotel who was happy to let him order ahead for us. The food was beautiful. The chicken nuggets were real crumbed chicken and the steak was lovely. I was here regularly and enjoyed the rooms and the pub, but they turned the verandas outside the rooms into an additional bar area. so they can expect a lot of loud pubs right in front of their door to late...night . they are not warned when they book the room. if they charge $95 per night for a common bath, it is badly worth .
