Great food! Really good service and friendly staff

We are disappointed. After asking if they had a menu, the waiter asked what we would like and the kitchen was closed (it was five in the afternoon). We chose an alcoholic drink and after presenting ID and ten minutes he declared that he could not accept it (for reasons unknown to us). We do not recommend.
First time of going after reading some reviews and we were glad that we did. Very friendly staff and great pub atmosphere. Sunday Carvery was just wonderful,I had a little of each meat my partner the beef and ham. Everything just perfect for us.Super tasty cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes just like home and all the meats succulent. Plenty of everything ,great place to be. Thanks to all for a great meal
Was here last week, had carvery and i must say it was the best i had for long time, beef was so tender and the mash was something else, staff was really good, we was lucky have table as it was very busy, staff worked hard fair play
