O My Cod! - Gwynedd

Small portions of greasy chips. Small cod for the money. Kept having to repeat order over and over and made to wait ages despite being the only ones there. They still got the order wrong. No ketchup. Only took cash. Swerve.

What was once a great chippy has been going in decline from pre-covid. Awfully small portion size, an over-fried small fish leaving a dry yet greasy taste in your mouth. A burger so depressing and bland it makes boiled rice flavourful. Price to quality is sub-par, if you're desperate consider going elsewhere for taste, quality and price. Its a shame seeing something once good turn to unloved disappointment.

It's been a while since the humble chippy was on the take away list in our house, been to this one a few times recently and every time it was great, very good portion of chips and excellent fish, highly recommend.

I purchased a fish and chips meal at this restaurant last night and was extremely disappointed. When I opened the box, the thick batter was hardened and difficult to break through to get to the small, thin slice of fish inside. The batter was so thick and tough that it resembled a fortune cookie. I suggest saving your money (yes, £7!) and finding another place to eat. It was truly shocking and unlike anything I've ever seen.

Popped in for a fish supper and had large cod and chips, both were very tasty but portion size of chips was poor. Nice Chinese curry sauce though
