After spending hours exploring the castle (which we did just after lunch), we needed some refreshment and found this place across the street shortly before closing time. The server was friendly. The place was nice an had a small mount of nice seating in front facing the castle, giving a nice setting. We had good tea and excellent Victoria Sponge and Bakewell Tart. View all feedback.

During our five-day stay in Caernarfon, we found ourselves returning to this restaurant every day. The staff was exceptionally friendly and well-informed about the menu. We enjoyed light lunches with coffee, rolls, quiches, or paninis accompanied by a small salad and shared dessert. The atmosphere was peaceful and away from the crowds, which added to the relaxing experience. We also visited the gift shop located behind the restaurant. Although there are no restrooms on site, public facilities are conveniently located nearby.
This charming coffee shop across from the castle is a great spot. They are dog-friendly, offer reasonable prices, and have an incredible selection of coffee and cakes. The staff always greet you with a warm welcome and provide prompt, friendly service. I highly recommend it.
We absolutely adore this cafe! The staff is always friendly, the coffee is consistently superb, and we delight in the little biscuit that comes with our drink. The meals they serve are delicious, and we especially love their cakes. A bonus is that the cafe is dog-friendly, with our furry friend treated to a special treat and lots of love each time we visit. A must-visit for a friendly atmosphere, and they also have a section that is pet-free to cater to everyone. The craft shop is filled with lovely items as well. Overall, a wonderful find located opposite the castle in Caernarfon.
I popped in here as was the only inviting cafe open on a Sunday in March. What a good job I did. Dewi served me with hot choc and a scone delicious. And what a gem both he and the owner were, brimming with fun and facts about the local area, such a knowledgeable chap Dewi is! Highly recommended!
We visited Caernarfon and being January not a lot of places were open. This is a cafe and shop and we had a nice chat with the chap serving at the counter and we ordered coffee and cake. Both were excellent with my partner saying its the best Americano she's had in ages. I would highly recommend this establishment.
