Nice hotel outside of central Bangor but easy walking distance back. Nice views of the bay on a clear day and right by the pier. Rooms are pleasant, like others have said a little dated but part of the charm. Guests with mobility issues should request a room on the ground floor had the stairs up to the top floors are very steep narrow. Really friendly staff on reception in the restaurant. Ordered two Sunday dinners from here today, one was with veggie sausages and other different meats, the wait was half an hour which is ok, but after waiting another 10 minutes after arriving to collect we then got the food home to a stone cold Sunday dinner!!! Have stayed here a few times now and each time it gets better! Lovely rooms, very clean and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much...
This restaurant is a fantastic location with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is affordable and plentiful. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Needs an upgrade. Rooms a bit tired and bar old fashioned. Wouldn't go back.
