What David Carter doesn't like about Caffi'r Tyddyn:
We called while looking around the garden centre We waited where it said queue A lady took our details NO MENTION OF THE ONE WAY SYSTEM I went to order and got told to use the one way system The staff had obviously not been...told and when I questioned it she said I will get the manager She arrived and went straight for the throat I explained about her staff no signs and not being told when we arrived Also my wife ha... All the dishes at this restaurant are frozen and not homemade. Despite a recommendation from another host family, our high expectations were dashed as the unfriendly staff took our orders. The prices are quite high for the subpar quality of the food.
This café, located within a garden center, serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. The café is well-maintained and consistently clean, with a welcoming and friendly staff that provides fast service from ordering to food arriving at the table. The menu is reasonably priced, with all dishes, particularly the soups, served at the perfect temperature and very flavorful. The homemade dishes are delightful and highly recommended. Don't miss out on this fantastic café experience!
We usually dine at this restaurant two or three times a week and generally enjoy it very much. However, on a few Sundays we have tried the carvery which has been very good. Unfortunately, this time we visited during a busy lunchtime and were disappointed with the quality of the food. The meat was tough and the vegetables were not as fresh as they should have been - they were almost cold. It seems that the restaurant was not maintaining its usual high standards.
When we were very close to the garden, we thought we would dive for a bit of wet day. there was much space to sit and it felt very kovid safe. large selection of cakes and drinks. I wish we were gone because the breakfast sounded really good. highly recommended.
We had eaten here before and we hadn't really enjoyed the food, it is local and we decided to try again this time with breakfasts. The cafe is very clean and nicely decorated but when the food came I was SO disappointed! The bacon was...barely cooked and left with so much fat on it really put me off. The mushrooms were from a tin and so sloppy it was awful and even the tomatoes were uncooked. I had to ask for a spare plate to put the waste food on before I could start eating only to be told to use the plate that the toast was on! To say I was not best pleased is an understatement. Well, we won't be going there again for food . What a shame!
