Description

Nestled in a charming spot, this café presents a delightful blend of atmosphere and culinary offerings, although experiences vary. Diners appreciate the good coffee and fresh meals, with standout items like veggie specials and hearty breakfasts. However, service can be inconsistent, with reports of unwelcoming staff dampening the experience. While some reviews note a lack of warmth from servers, others rave about attentive service and a welcoming vibe. Despite its mixed reviews, the café's cozy setting, including outdoor seating, makes it a worthwhile stop for a satisfying meal in North Wales, especially for those craving quality over quantity.

This restaurant is highly overrated. One person often occupies a table meant for four, causing long waits for available seating. The food quality is subpar, likely due to the lack of a skilled chef. The staff, particularly the unimpressive short boy at the counter, are unfriendly. There are many better dining options in the area.

This is one of my favorite cafes ever! The atmosphere is super lovely, the food is amazing, and the staff provide superb customer service. It's a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a coffee and meal with a relaxed vibe.

This restaurant, despite its own hype, was disappointingly ordinary in my experience. The service was decent, the food was average, and the atmosphere was nothing special. The cleanliness was impeccable, but overall, this place did not live up to its claim of being the finest watering hole in the north.

We used to visit here regularly as a family and since we had not been since before Covid, we decided to go for lunch. The menu was disappointing with not many options. We only ordered 2 bowls of chips, a buttered bap, a cake and a cup of tea and it came to £19.50!!! Expensive in my eyes. Won’t be going again unfortunately.

We were looking for a nice food stop but there wasn’t much around. I read reviews stating this place had tasteless food… we decided to give it a go. The food was really good and flavoured. I had the vegan curry with salad. The coffee is really good also. I didn’t find the staff the friendliest. The cafe has a nice setting and I would return for the food again. Not dog friendly inside but you can sit outside.
