I was very pleasantly surprised by... read more Four of us dropped in for a coffee after our walk around Lake Gwelup yesterday morning and found that this cafe opens early. I was very pleasantly surprised by the range of food that is available and the availability of gluten free options (even cakes). We sat outside on a very pleasant winter's day and found that there was a light blanket/throw available for every outside table! I will definitely return and I understand it is a favourite of local residents.

Ne... read more Always generous and good quality food dished up at Kaffeine. The setting is in the shopping centre with some tables and chairs outside when its nice weather. Never had a bad meal here. Great to have a top cafe in a small shopping centre in the middle of suburbia. Kids are very welcome.

The pastries are fresh and delicious, the breakfast... read more This is quite a gem sitting in Gwelup with good coffee and pastries - I'm keen to try the wood-fired pizza. The pastries are fresh and delicious, the breakfast a bit pricey but the servings are generous.The outdoor setting is a delight on a nice day and offers a (much) better view than sitting inside the cafe or shopping centre which can be noisy. The outside cushions are a nice touch and there's often a few people reading the paper with a coffee, enjoying the outdoors. If you are in the area and chasing breakfast or lunch this is worth checking out. Service was faultless. 15% surcharge on public holidays.

We frequent this restaurant often, and the service is usually quite good. However, today the service was exceptional, prompting me to write this review. Our waitress, who referred to herself as "an older lady with a bun" (despite being younger than us), was fantastic. Despite our non-standard order, everything was executed flawlessly. The outdoor seating area had a lovely atmosphere, with a nice mix of clientele and a comfortable noise level. We feel lucky to have Kaffeine Cafe as our neighborhood spot.
