As soon as I saw that the menu featured Filipino-insp... read more While passing through Guymon, OK, we discovered Urban Bru, a hidden gem of a restaurant ranked #2 on Yelp. As soon as I saw that the menu featured Filipino-inspired dishes, I knew we had to give it a try. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who were more than willing to assist us in choosing our meals. They were also very accommodating of our messy two-year-old, and provided excellent recommendations. The restaurant had a peaceful atmosphere, with modern decor, comfortable seating, soft lighting, and beautiful flower arrangements. The espresso bar was impressive, offering a variety of pastries, as well as wine and beer. Our lunch was delicious - my husband loved his Cuban sandwich, and I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich on berry-wheat bread and chicken rice soup. The oats and milk were a hit with our little one. We were so impressed that we ordered dinner to go (the chicken adobo rice bowl) for later on our road trip. I have a feeling that whenever we are in the area, we will be returning to Urban Bru for a meal without hesitation, and I highly recommend that you do the same!

There are plenty of ve... read more I must say, Urban Bru (formerly known as [previous restaurant name]) is a great spot. The menu remains similar and the food is delicious. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available which is a big plus. The teas and coffees are delicious and the atmosphere is charming. I could easily see myself spending time here with a book in hand. The food was tasty, the service was good, and both the rice bowl and sandwiches we tried were excellent. It would be helpful to see this updated on Yelp.

Taste... read more Awesome place to get a meal, starting of with the chips and sampler sauces, the Habanero is the best. We had a mix of items of the menu, all were great.. Taste Of Mexico, Filet, Ribeye Beef Stew and a the finish off with scoops of Deuce de leche Ice cream. The Bar created the best Dirty Margarita. We hope the our servers feel better, very dedicated people. Will definitely stop by again if visiting Guymon..
