Oriental Bistro - Guwahati

The food needs more variety, a little less spices and the service needs to be quicker, Not a big improvement needed otherwise, it is a good place (less crowded) for a friend’s get together, gives you enough privacy as well as tables are far enough, chairs are comfortable, but something is missing and that has to be figured out by people who are running the place.

We found this place on our way and gave it a try..Ordered Veg Spring Roll and Zyng Veg Schezwan Sizzler..Spring Roll was good and the sizzler is not of typical Indian taste and hence we did not like it.. surprisingly, the sizzler doesn't come with either noodles or rice as base!

I have celebrated birthday here, food here was quite good, it's a restro pub with a neat ambience and is at the heart of the city (same kfc building lachit nagar to be precise). They have ala carte and also buffet with good spread and taste. Parking is not an issue in the evening, only issue was with the air conditioning and service person. AC was not working properly and also serving people were less that created some delay from starter to main course. Quite hospitable crew and tasty food( continental and Chinese) at reasonable price.

I just love the buffet menu search there . Starting from their starters in the desert is just really tasty . Initially the price of your buffet was I guess 499 of 450 but later it around increased their buffet price bye about hundred to 150 rupees . increasing the price was not a big deal but they should as well made some changes in their menu the should have brought a bit of variety in the starters and some in the desert and then it would be a really worth appreciating. Overall I really love the buffet served there

I had Tom Yum Martini and Chilly Garlic Noodles. Both tasted very good, plus courteous staff.
