The master distiller was super nice and let us try the whiskeys (my family's personal drink of choice even though they weren't doing tastings today since we were from out of state and drove up. The whiskeys were fantastic and absolutely worth the drive. A 10/10 must stop if you like whiskey, and as good if not better than some of the whiskeys on the Kentucky bourbon trail (as someone who did the whole thing, I know those can be fighting words, but I promise they're true! . Thank you so much for being so kind and making time for us!Open for Saturday tastings for everyone who's out of town and looking to come around, and the bar next store (Mack and Ike's sells drinks with their products (they're open Tuesday 4-11pm and Wednesday-Saturdays 4pm-2am .
Did a Saturday distillery tour at WanderFolk and it was fantastic. The care they take in telling the history of Oklahoma and Guthrie through their spirits and marketing is very special. Would highly recommend doing a tour and grabbing a bottle to go.
I visited the distillery in the late afternoon and was warmly welcomed by Jeff, the Master Distiller. He was an incredible and attentive host, taking the time to make us feel really at home. I highly recommend this distillery!
WanderFolk offers an engaging journey through both the distillery's history and the broader context of distillation in Oklahoma, making it enjoyable for both novices and experts. As we sampled their vodkas, gins, whiskeys, and coffee liqueurs, Jeff provided detailed insights into the production processes and the flavors we should expect with each sip. He was incredibly accommodating, answering our many questions about the science and history of distilling as well as the unique recipes created at WanderFolk. During the tour, we had the opportunity to see the gin production facility, the sales warehouse, and numerous barrels containing various aging products. I learned that a tour and tasting for two people is only $30, which is an excellent value considering the range of products you can sample and the extensive access they provide during the experience. They also sell a variety of merchandise, including their spirits, t-shirts, glasses, and other souvenirs. I highly recommend WanderFolk, whether you're a spirit novice like me or a seasoned connoisseur. The staff, especially Jeff, are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to providing a great experience.
