The Chicken Shack 2go - Guthrie

I think there are two Chicken Shacks. The one in Arcadia is great but this one not so much.

This place has one employee who is “just a cook”. I placed an order online, paid, and showed up on time. The employee looked like a deer in headlights when I said I was there for a pick up. They didn’t have my order and had no record of it. They had taken my money and sent me a confirmation email and pick up time.What I assume happened is the cook wanted to shut down early and just ignored the order. Because, he was able to refund the order by cancelling it in his system. I thought you didn’t have my order??

Not impressed at all. The chicken is greasy soggy and the mashed potatoes gravy are inedible. I expected white gravy but their gravy tastes like they dumped a can of cream of chicken soup on top of the potatoes. Thinking about throwing it all out fixing dinner myself. $36 for nothing. Hope the Chicken Shack in Arcadia is better than this place.

Delicious chicken strips (crispy and juicy) and perfect fries. The Cole slaw was cold and fresh.The photos I added were after I ate half my meal. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Located inside the gas station, good food and small dining area. I'd recommend this place.
