Fantastic burgers and great scenery. Historically rich feeling. Amazing service. Everyone checked on us.

I can’t tell you how great this restaurant is. The only bad news is, both times we have been there, there were small hiccups at the bar. First time it was slow, second they ran out of peach vodka. This is a place that serves 3-4 star food at 2-3 star prices. We have not stayed at the hotel, but I can imagine it is nice as well.

Brick oven pizza was awesome, calamari with a sorta tomato chutney, hand-cut fries were awesome, draft IPAs were on pint and the smash burgers were good. Would 've liked my burger a little less cooked... But it was good nonetheless.

We are frequent flyers at The Bistro. The food is 5/5 stars. The service is consistently at 2/5 stars. Tonight for example, our order wasn’t taken until 20 minutes after we’d been sat, our apps didn’t come out for a long time, when our food finally came out only half the table came out and when we wanted to ask where the rest was our waitress was no where to be found for literally 20 minutes. We finally found someone to tell and the waitress came back saying our food was given away to another table. It’s just this kind of situation all the time. Like I said, the food is ALWAYS amazing, but the service makes it harder and harder to go back. EDIT: They DID offer a $10 gift card for every check and comped the meals that were given away/forgotten. That’s why I gave 3 stars.
